The NC State Extension Feed Milling program is committed to continual improvement. We’ve worked on a number of projects and grants to enhance teaching and outreach.
Current Projects
We are currently working on our third grant with the NC State University Distance Education and Learning Technology Applications (DELTA) group.
In this latest grant, we’re focusing on a pressing need: high-quality online/virtual labs.

Guide to Writing PCAF Food Safety Plans
The Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance formed a committee to write a guide to help facilities draft food safety plans.

DELTA grant: Feed Mill Layout Tool
Under the DELTA Grants, program, we developed tools to improve the assignments and experiences for students in FM 425/525. This includes our 3-D feed mill tour.
